GlyphDuel

GlyphDuel is an independent project. This page explains simply what we do (and don't do) with your data.

What we collect and why

Nothing personal to play. You can play without creating an account or sharing any information. Your preferences and game stats are stored locally in your browser and are never transmitted to us.

The multiplayer leaderboard. If you join the leaderboard, your nickname and number of wins are saved on our server. They are automatically deleted after 90 days of inactivity. To remove them sooner, email us at contact@glyphduel.fr.

The contact form. If you reach out via the contact form, your name, email address and message are transmitted so we can reply. This information is deleted once your request is handled.

Advertising. To keep the service free, GlyphDuel shows ads through Google AdSense. Google may place advertising cookies on your device — only if you accept via the consent banner shown on your first visit. You can change your choice at any time. More info: Google Privacy Policy.

Visit statistics. We use a lightweight analytics tool (Umami) to understand how many people visit the site, from which countries, and on which devices. It uses no cookies and collects no personally identifiable information.

IP addresses. Used temporarily in memory to prevent abuse (rate limiting). Never stored persistently.

Cookies

GlyphDuel uses no first-party cookies. Google AdSense advertising cookies are only placed with your explicit consent.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you can request access to your data, correction, deletion, or object to its processing at any time. Write to contact@glyphduel.fr — we respond within 30 days.

You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in France: the CNIL at cnil.fr).
